Diary 1 February 5, 1974
- My name is Lanthia Winoba and I am living on a reservation in Talihina, Oklahoma. It has been exactly 8 days since they came and moved the second to last transport of Pequot Indians. Diary 2: April 6, 1974
- It has been two months since I wrote my last journal and expressed my worries. Since the last time I wrote, we received word that we will be transported but, who knows how long that will be. Diary 3: April 7, 1974
- This is my next journal entry and I am sadly reporting that there is still no news from the guards. What could possibly be taking them such a long time? How long do they expect us to wait before we give in to our environment? We are limited on food and other important resources. You know, I am starting to believe that they may never come and if they don't what will become of us then? I guess we will have to all die before we have peace. Well so be it, I just hope that someone is protecting and nourishing Liba in this time of crisis. he needs the extra attention.
